Project Overview
Major League Soccer (MLS) as well as the Men's and Women's US National Teams rely on a network of elite regional youth soccer programs to shape young players into professional athletes. Washington Youth Soccer is one of the oldest and most highly regarded among them. The organization competes with other regional associations to retain and oversee dozens of leagues, over two hundred clubs, and thousands of individual athletes.
The way that Washington Youth Soccer interacts with each of these segments has evolved. Its ability to attract and retain prospects from each constitutancy is directly connected to its ability to tell a compelling story about the organization's impact on their lives. Unique and compelling messaging about the purpose, opportunities, and benefits to their membership is critical to sustainability. Failure meant that competing leagues would fill in these gaps and bleed away elite talent.
Over five years, Catalyst has worked as part of the organization’s team to deliver omnichannel marketing capabilities. Our initial project included a reimagining of the organization's website. But, our team has stayed on to provide a wide range of ongoing communications support, from conten, digital, and communications expertise.
